Old Memories- Buzz Lightyear Clean Ups

I was looking today through my old drawings and found this Buzz Lightyear sketch that I did at Disney's Animation Academy in Walt Disney World. I was just starting out to get more serious about my drawing ability, and around the time I decided I want to an animator. It shows how you can complete complex characters with simple shapes. If you haven't been to the Animation Academy, go check it out. It is the animation building in Hollywood Studios. Most people don't know that it used to be the Orlando Disney Animation Studios where they made Lilo and Stitch, Brother Bear, and many more! I did this drawing at the drawing class they had during the day. If you love animation, it is a must!

INTRODUCTION

Hi, I am a young animator (age 14) working on short films and other projects. My Dream is to work someday in the animation industry, especially as a traditional pencil animator, or any type of animator/ character designer. When I am done with high school, I want to attend the California Institute of the Arts to study Character or Experimental Animation, It is one of my big dreams.
